The regular information source of the register consists of the information given by the users of the eservice.
Information is kept as long as the matter in question has been processed and information is no longer required by the register authority or service.
If user's information is regularly disclosed to a party outside the organization of the register authority, user's appropriate consent is always required beforehand. Publicity of the information delivered to the authority is stipulated in the Act on the Openness of Government Activities (621/1999) or in eventual special law.
Personal data in the register is saved confidentially. Only certain persons have access to the information and they are also required to log in to the system.
Persons that have delivered information have the right to check information they have sent about themselves and request amendment of erroneous information. Request for change is sent to the contact person of the register.
The service uses cookies. Cookie is a small text file that is sent to the user's computer and saved there allowing the administrator of the internet pages to identify frequent visitors on the page and to make their logging in easier, it will also allow collecting information on visitors. Using this information it is possible to continuously improve the contents of the pages. Cookies do not harm the user's computer or files. Using cookies enables to provide the information and services in accordance with the requirements of each user's individual needs.
If the user does not allow the service to collect above information using cookies, it is possible to disable cookies in most browsers.
It should, however, be noticed that cookies are required for certain maintained web sites and services to function properly.
The purpose of the register is to implement Feedback services. The service is used for sending, processing and analyzing feedback. The service can be used without providing contact information. It is possible to give contact information and log in to the service. Messages can be sent to the users who have provided their contact information concerning their case.
